The eclectic mixing of academic Classicism techniques with the elements of “national romanticism” is at the heart of this fireplace. Excellent composition of the fireplace and meticulousness in draughtsmanship make it truly unique. Bronze decor is an integral component of its grandeur.
Chapter of history:
1. Moscow City. Grand Kremlin Palace. Under the patronage of I.S. Glazunov the interiors of architect K.A. Ton were reconstructed; and this fireplace was specially recreated for this purpose (1998-1999).
2. Installed in the private apartments of the first person. Installed in the State Complex of Konstantin Palace (“The Congress Palace” in Strelna) in 2003.
3. Installed in “The Moscow manor” at Volkhonka Street, house museum of artist Ilya Glazunov, in 2001.
